Frontpiece from Alexander Glen's Caledonian Repository

Alexander Glen was an older brother to Thomas Glen, and father of David Glen. He was born in 1801, and went into business as a bagpipe maker in 1844.
His "Caledonian Repository" was first published in 1860, and there were three other editions published over the next several years. The version presented here is a first edition.
